Prisoner of Lies

Jack Downey's Prisoner of Lies: The Cold War takes us into the life of this courageous and remarkably resilient man who became America's longest-serving prisoner of war, released after spending more than 20 years in what was then called Red China . His captivity lasted almost the entire Cold War, from 1952 to his release in 1973, after the United States.
officially recognized by the government of mainland China.

For two years, both were presumed dead.
